First major overseas commision completed

4DDesigns have recenty completed a major lighting instillation for ARIA Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, for Michael Mina "American Fish" Restaurant. This project was completed as part of the City Centre Las Vegas development Designed by the world-renowned firm Pelli Clarke Architects. This project has been a major learning curve and resulted in 4D Designs gaining UL certification for the Koivu range. We are now looking for ditributors throuhgout USA and Canada. We are also in the proccess of getting the Koivu range tested for use outdoors.

UL Listing ..USA and Canada here we come!

4D Designs is proud to announce that it has successfully obtained UL Listing for recessed luminaries. UL certification covers both USA and Canada. Now means we can sell into both these countries meeting all required health and safety regulations. Here at 4D Designs we are really pleased to have completed a large commission of 30 Koivu lights each ranging from 3 m - 4 m for a major developer in Las Vegas.

We recently completed an illuminated forest instillation at the Shambala festival and Larmer Tree festival which was a great success. We are working on a series of light instillations which can be hired for outdoor events, helping to make any occasion extra special.

larmer tree festival Koivu instillation

After a frantic week in the studio we managed to complete our very first range of outdoor brich koivu lights for the Larmer Tree Festival in Salisbury's. This being the first outdoor instillation we approached the festival site with slight apprehension. However all worries disappeared when we saw the instillation site, which was perfect for the lights. Offering not only protection from the high winds but also from to many people interfering with the lights. The weather did its worst, supplying at with 4 days of rain and gales, but the lights stood up to the test and looked stunning. Creating a relaxed atmosphere in the small garden. The entire festival was a really good experience and we enjoyed finding new music whilst taking part in a large assortment of craft activities as well as the carnival procession. We will definitely be visiting Larmer tree festival again. It provided us with a really refreshing festival experience.
